“When Paris has to pee, Paris has to pee!”

Everyone snickers when they hear a blonde joke, unless you are a blonde [it is usually because they don’t understand it anyway, even I am feeling unresponsive to jokes these days...just joking fellow blondes]

According to Greenwood and Isbell (2002:341) there are two opposing views towards women that are prejudicial in nature.

The one is positive and the other negative. Hostile sexism is a subjectively negative view towards women. This is where it is believed for example that women want to be in control of men, that they are only interested in cars and money et cetera.

The second subjectively positive view is called benevolent sexism. An example here would be a good woman should be praised and appreciated by her man.
From here you would be put in a scale and whatever your score is, this will determine where on the sexist scale you fall. This is called the Ambivalent Sexism Inventory (ASI) I won’t bore you with the details of this. But this is basically a scale of how funny you will find certain jokes.

The stereotypical blonde is an attractive nymphomaniac who you can get into bed easily, without having to have an emotional bond with her. It makes you think of the porn star Paris Hilton. She is a blonde sex bomb who has famous quotes tied to her name like

“Wal-mart... do they like make walls there?”

BLONDE JOKE OF THE DAY!

A blonde and a redhead met for dinner after work and were watching the 6 o'clock news. A man was shown threatening to jump from the Brooklyn Bridge. The blonde bet the redhead $50 that he wouldn't jump, and the redhead replied, "I'll take that bet!"
Anyway, sure enough, he jumped, so the blonde gave the redhead the $50 she owned. The redhead said, "I can't take this, you're my friend." The blonde said, "No. A bet's a bet."
So the redhead said, "Listen, I have to admit, I saw this one on the 5 o'clock news, so I can't take your money."
The blonde replied, "Well, so did I, but I never thought he'd jump again!"
